Born in 1983, Tirgu Jiu, Romania.
Visual artist and curator based in Bucharest.
Education
She graduated from the National University of Arts, Bucharest (MFA 2008 and BFA -2006). In 2008 she began her PhD dissertation entitled The Violence of Image in Postcommunist Romanian Art.
Her artistic activity began in 2002; since then, she had four solo exhibitions in Bucharest (2005, 2006, 2007) and Timisoara (2003) and also, a lot of participations in art projects, both local and international.
The most important events she took part in were Biennale dellArti dUnita dItalia (Caserta, Italy, 2008), The Miniature Biennial from Gornji Milanovac (Serbia, 2008), 7 parallel 7 (MNAC Bucharest and MOYA Vienna, curator Diana Dochia), Mitologie temporanee (2008 Galeria ARIPA, Torino), Beauty and The Beast (2006 Bruckenthal Museum – Sibiu; K.O.KE.M. Miercurea Ciuc; Casa Matei Cluj-Napoca; Anaid Art Gallery Bucharest, curator Bogdan Iacob), Transmissionen III (2006 Kunstakademie Stuttgart), Figurativo leggero (2005 Accademia di Romania, Roma) etc.
